Children 1-5 learn the importance of sharing God's love and how they can be involved in local and global missions efforts. The children will experience missions through a hands-on rotation model, taking part in art, cooking, drama/games, and mission projects in each of 5 units throughout the year. Each unit introduces the children to a different part of the world and to missionaries who are currently serving these areas. Many of these missionaries are people whom First Baptist members have visited and whose work they have seen first-hand through missions partnerships with the Alliance of Baptists and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. In addition to the rotating activities, children will have the opportunity to hear a speaker, take a field trip, or participate in a special activity for each unit. Through the various activities offered throughout the year, children gain a greater understanding of and appreciation for God's children who love around the globe and those who live in Greenville.
