Single Adult Ministries

Many education opportunities are provided for single adults. Some are as a group and others are in conjunction with the ongoing ministries of the church. Singles are not isolated as members of First Baptist but are encouraged to be a full-fledged part of the church's life. Retreats, social occasions, and other emphases are provided throughout the year. There are many adult classes (including single-gender, coed, couples and singles) which meet during the Sunday School hour. These allow options for singles to meet their own spiritual needs in a variety of ways.

Mission Statement

We are a vital, contributing part of the community of believers of First Baptist Church. We provide a place to belong for single adults of all ages and experiences that promotes spiritual growth and development. We provide a caring, loving, supportive, nurturing environment for corporate worship, Christian education, service, missions, recreation and fellowship within the church and community. We provide an environment that promotes meaningful relationships with God and others, joy, and purpose.
