Healthcare Advocacy
Even though we are so fortunate in Greenville to have excellent healthcare available, a person in need may find many obstacles to negotiate. Regardless of how assertive or savvy a person may be, it is often impossible to advocate for oneself. When a person is sick, that person needs someone to make sure that they are getting the best care possible.
When a new diagnosis is given it may be difficult to understand the medical language, to know what the next steps are, to know what questions to ask and what resources are available. What then? Where does a person turn?
A team of volunteer advocates are available to make an assessment and assist you however we can. Call the Pastoral Care office at 864-370-2522 ext. 137.
