SHELF LIFE
What's New in the FBC Media Center?

Authors Associated with FBC
Beth Kendrick Tally, the daughter of Schaefer Kendrick, has authored a new novel entitled The Beacon. The story focuses on family, faith and overcoming obstacles to achieve a meaningful life. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book will go the Family Connection of South Carolina in honor of Jim, Katie and Bryann Burgess.
T.C. Smith, best known for his writings on the Bible, has made a departure in his writing career to author a historical work of a place, specifically his childhood home. The Tale of Three Sawmill Towns looks at the history of Alco, Long Leaf, and Meridian, Louisiana. Having lived in all three sawmill towns, Smith, a native of Pineville, Lousiana, is well-qualified to tell their tales. A copy is available in the FBC Media Center.
Finally, former member Anita Flowers has penned devotionals for the current issue of Reflections. Her writings will appear November 10-23 in the publication. She is married to former youth minister Don Flowers. They live on Daniel Island in Charleston, SC, where he pastors Providence Baptist Church.
