Contribution Statements Go Green!
First Baptist Greenville is now offering an e-statement option. Contributors may elect to receive their quarterly and year-end contribution statements via e-mail through a secure link, which allows them to view and print a statement. The statement will be sent to the "preferred" e-mail address they choose. Please login to your Engage First account to change or verify your preferred address.

  • Log in to Engage First
  • Click "My Profile" under the "Home" menu
  • Locate the e-mail address section and click the edit icon (pencil) next to the e-mail address you want to change.

Please note: Due to software programming, if you have a joint contribution record with your spouse, the system will look for the husband's e-mail address first, so please be sure to use that address. Once you have chosen a preferred e-mail address and enrolled in this "green" statement option, please e-mail Gail House in Contribution Services to confirm this choice. Your contribution record will then be changed to reflect this option. You may also contact her at 233-2527 ext. 103 if you have further questions.

The First Baptist Church of Greenville, South Carolina Foundation
In 1992, First Baptist Church began the Faith Fund, an endowment fund with earnings that were used to fund local, state, national and international missions program. In 2004, the church voted to merge the Faith Fund with three other endowments (the General Fund, the Leadership Development Fund, and the Property Fund). Since its initial beginnings, $1,029,394 have been disbursed. Donors can be assured that proceeds from their gifts will be used as they specify in perpetuity.

Lula Whilden World Missions Offering
The Lula Whilden World Missions Offering funds mission work done through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, CBF of South Carolina and the Alliance of Baptists. Each year, the church sets an offering goal, and gifts are received throughout the year to support this offering. The main emphasis, however, comes in the fall when special attention is given to needs around the world. All offerings given at the annual Candlelight Service before Christmas go to this offering.

Local Relief
Gifts to local relief efforts are accepted throughout the year. Envelopes are provided in the pews, and there is no special emphasis given to this offering. All gifts made at the annual Christmas Eve service go to Local Relief.
